Jackson and Griffin at the Ranch

"I'm pretty sure our tree is bigger"

"Hey look ... a Cook-a-doodle-doo egg beater!"

"Stay on the trail, pardner"

"These boots are comin' in handy"

Where the grass is as high as a three-year-old's eye ...

No visit to the ranch is complete without a turn on the tractor

Pretend-style, of course

Don't forget to put water out for the birds ... they get thirsty

And so do we ...

Jace's time to shine

A helping hand from Pop Pop

Take the Z Train

Jackson got some undivided time with Nana and Pop Pop while everyone else got to nap ...

Jackson got to go to Zilker Park while G and Jace were napping ...

But the playground wasn't the main attraction ...

It was all about riding the Zilker Zephyr!

With an extra special surprise at the end ...

A tunnel full of Christmas lights!

Bootin' it up ... Texas-style

Jackson, Griffin, Jace, and Logan show off their Christmas booty ...

Look what I got!

I got me some, too pardner

Need a little help with my spurs, though

Whaddya say we rustle up some little doggies?

Not quite sure where those might be ...

Don't worry pardner, I'll find 'em!

The next day finds our cowpokes hot on the trail ...

Ride 'em cowboys!

I'm thinking these are the best boots ever

Mine are just a leetle stiff ...

Don't worry Griffin, they'll break in

Okay, enough of this ... let's go get some grub!

And just a little further down the trail ...

Better late than never, right Jace?

But wait ... who's that tall stranger in the distance?

It's LoLo!

Steppin' out ... Texas-style!

G's big day

It's a long drive to Nana Pop Pop's house, but time goes faster if you look for boots in Wimberley ...

And stopping at Brookshire Brothers for banana cake makings helps, too ...

Oh cool! A race car in Griffin's favorite color ...

But nothing can beat driving the Little Black Truck ...

Unless it's filling up the bird bath with lots of water ...

Cottage cheese, lunch of champions ...

And a new room at the end of the drive home ...
