Time flies when you're having fun!

As Jackson's first birthday comes closer I have found myself finding it hard to believe that it's been a whole year. I was looking through some pictures that I just took and I was trying to figure out what I should blog about when I came across a picture that I took exactly a year ago ...

I guess the saying is true, "Time flies when you're having fun!" Looking through the pictures that I had just taken I realized a lot of them were of Jackson looking up at me wanting to see the camera. I'm sure that I'll look back on this in the not too distant future and have the same feeling I do about the picture above, where did the time go?!?

Family Hug

Melissa, here ... Mom wanted to make this a "family blog" so I guess I will give it a try since I've got such a great new camera thanks to Mom and Dad. I am not a writer like my Mother, so I will keep this short and sweet. 

It's a known fact, my husband gives the best hugs. Like the kind of hug that makes a bad day better with one bear hug squeeze. Jackson has started to give me his own mini bear hug in the morning when I get him up. It melts my heart. I guess I know where he gets it from :)
